Spending your summer holidays in Méribel will also give you the chance to try your hand at glacier walking. Once you’ve put on your crampons, your guide will take you off the beaten track to help you experience the magnificent sunrise visible from the top of the glacier. In Méribel, there are numerous glacier treks on offer, from the Pointe de la Réchasse to the Pointe du Dard, via the Dôme de Polset or even the Mont de Gébroulaz, situated at an altitude of 3,509 metres.
Ideal for those new to mountaineering, glacier hiking is one of the most beautiful experiences you’ll have during your day in Méribel. Thanks to the ESF, you’ll discover the mountains in a whole new light in the height of summer and give your children the chance to enjoy a complete change of scenery and switch off for a few days.
