In summer, Méribel remains one of the favourite destinations for French people and foreign tourists who make the most of their holidays to head for the mountains with family or friends. If you’re keen on hiking, the 3 Vallées resort is the ideal place to recharge your batteries for a few days and enjoy a unique experience with your children.

At the ESF, we offer a wide range of workshops, themed hikes and glacier walks to enjoy as soon as the warmer weather arrives.

Fun and relaxing workshops for children and adults

At the ESF, we have designed the Montagne Expériences Méribel programme to enable everyone – adults and children alike – to find the activity they are most passionate about and to enjoy it during their stay in the mountains.

It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a unique and thrilling holiday, whether taking part in fun family workshops or relaxing workshops for adults, such as an introduction to forest therapy, for a summer to remember.

Themed walks to reconnect with nature

During your week’s summer holiday in Méribel, you’ll also have the chance to go on themed hikes with our qualified instructors. At our Les Petits Forestiers club, your children can take part in various workshops designed to raise their awareness of nature.

Whether you’re exploring the mountains as a family or on your own, you’ll rediscover this place in a whole new light and enjoy a truly rejuvenating experience. At the ESF Méribel, we also offer an introduction to wild mountain plants. During this excursion, you’ll learn to identify the plants that end up on your plate, such as rhubarb and spinach.

Discovering the high mountains through a glacier hike

Spending your summer holidays in Méribel will also give you the chance to try your hand at glacier walking. Once you’ve put on your crampons, your guide will take you off the beaten track to help you experience the magnificent sunrise visible from the top of the glacier. In Méribel, there are numerous glacier treks on offer, from the Pointe de la Réchasse to the Pointe du Dard, via the Dôme de Polset or even the Mont de Gébroulaz, situated at an altitude of 3,509 metres.

Ideal for those new to mountaineering, glacier hiking is one of the most beautiful experiences you’ll have during your day in Méribel. Thanks to the ESF, you’ll discover the mountains in a whole new light in the height of summer and give your children the chance to enjoy a complete change of scenery and switch off for a few days.
