Explore the mountain with ski skins!
Join the esf Méribel instructors off the beaten paths to discover ski touring during 1 to 5 sessions.
Discover the techniques to ascend and make your own tracks in the snow while progressing through large routes in autonomy.

Ski in the powdery snow, ski in the spring, or ascend backcountry slopes with ski skins.
Méribel's Ski School is located in the Tourist Office of the centre of Méribel and in Mottaret (OT).
Whether you're an off-piste beginner or an expert, in the late afternoon, you will meet specialised instructors and mountain guides.
They will answer your questions and suggest programmes adapted to both your level and your expectations.

Our answers to your questions

Is ski touring accessible to all?
The outings are accessible to everyone with at least an Intermediate level and from the age of 13, unless medically contraindicated.
Do I need some specific equipment?
Safety equipment is provided by the esf.
But don't forget your ski touring equipment: boots, skis, skins and a change of clothes.
Is there a special insurance for these outings?
Students are not insured by the esf. We highly recommend you take out Carré Neige Insurance.
