With a private ski touring lesson, your English-speaking esf Méribel instructor will guide you on a fully personalised outing, tailored to your ability, fitness level and ambitions. Thanks to their expert knowledge of the terrain, you'll discover some of the most beautiful ski touring routes in the 3 Vallées, while enjoying a safe and rewarding experience.

Whether you're taking your first steps in ski touring, learning climbing techniques or aiming for more challenging ascents, your instructor will guide you every step of the way, combining effort, technique and enjoyment. Need expert advice? The esf Méribel ski school welcomes you at the Tourist Office in Méribel Centre and Méribel-Mottaret. Visit us at the end of the afternoon to meet our specialist instructors and qualified mountain guides, who will be happy to recommend the most suitable itinerary and create a programme tailored to your needs.

Is insurance included in the course fee?
  • Participants are not insured by esf.
  • We recommend carré neige insurance.

How can I assess my own level or my child’s?
  • If you're unsure of your own skiing level, or your child's, please visit our dedicated ‘Assess my level’ page.
  • On the first day, our instructors will confirm each participant's level and, if necessary, place them in the group best suited to their ability.
Are private lessons available in different languages?
Yes. Private lessons can be taught in a range of languages, subject to instructor availability. To find out which languages are available for your stay, please submit your request using our dedicated enquiry form.
