
Begin with a descent into the Encombres Valley, before climbing around 700 metres towards Cime Noire. Depending on the snow conditions, the return descent follows either the ascent route or a secluded, unspoilt valley.

- Contact your instructor to introduce yourselves and prepare for the outing together.

- Meet at 9.00 am at the esf chalet
- As safety is our top priority, we’ll have a quick briefing before we set off to go over your route: snow conditions, weather, etc.
- Your safety equipment will be handed out by your instructor.
- We’ll set off on our first descent into the Encombres Valley.
- Ascent to the Cimes Noire with an elevation gain of around 700 metres.
- Descent depending on snow conditions:
- via the same route as the ascent
- or via a wild, unspoilt valley. - Return to the starting point.
