Who is the esf Méribel Base Camp for?

A popular option, Base Camp is open to young children aged 8 and over. As part of a group of sports enthusiasts of their own age, your little ones will have the chance to take part in a range of activities.

The Base Camp week takes place in the heart of the snowpark. It's a chance for them to familiarise themselves with all types of snow, and to try out activities that will put them to the test, such as slalom.

To take part in Base Camp, your child will need to have obtained his or her 3rd star, and be ready to excel under the guidance of qualified instructors.

Combine performance and fun at the Méribel Base Camp

The aim of this package is to help young sportsmen and women improve their skiing through a condensed programme of lessons throughout the week. During training sessions designed especially for them, they will have the opportunity to perfect their technique and finally assess their progress at the end of the stay, by taking part in the Bronze Star, Silver Star and Gold Star tests.

In addition to the intense training sessions, your young athletes will be offered games sessions. So, in the course of a week, they can take part in a sporting activity and enjoy a great time, alongside enthusiastic pupils with whom they can bond.

The mountains are a popular destination for many people. That's why resort crowds can be so high, especially in the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area. That's why it's a good idea to plan your holiday in advance, so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a mountain holiday to the full.

While booking your ski lessons in advance is essential in most cases, this advice applies even more so to the Base Camp. With limited places, and only held during school holidays, the Base Camp is particularly popular.

In fact, we strongly recommend that you book your package before you leave, to guarantee a place for your budding sportsman or woman.
