Is your budding athlete taking his or her first steps on the slopes? As a parent, you may want to attend one of their lessons to encourage them and
follow their progress. Although you're asked not to interfere and to let the instructor give his or her lesson,
being present at the bottom of the slopes will show your support for your child, who will then be able to flourish and
gain self-confidence.
Whatever the age of your apprentice skier, learning a new sport is never easy. So you need to
be patient and rely on the experience of the instructor in charge of the group.
Watching from the sidelines helps the lesson run smoothly and ensures the well-being of all the participants. There's nothing to stop you debriefing with your child after the workout!
