Located in the French Alps, the Méribel ski resort enjoys an ideal location. In fact, it's part of the world's largest ski area: Les 3 Vallées

This international recognition means it welcomes tourists from all over the world, including Brazil and the United States, as well as more European destinations such as Belgium and the Netherlands. So there are plenty of ESF instructors in Méribel who speak several languages!

Tourists come to Méribel from all over the world!

The French aren't the only ones who come to enjoy Méribel's excellent snow conditions and ski or snowboard to their heart's content. In fact, the authenticity of the resort attracts visitors from far beyond France's borders. From Switzerland to Brazil, it's not unusual to welcome skiers who have travelled thousands of kilometres to discover and experience all the beauty of our French mountains.

Méribel has a lot to offer, as it lies at the heart of the 3 Vallées and boasts a large number of top-quality ski runs. Today, there are 72 of them, including 39% red runs, 38% blue runs and many more. The longest is 1.1 km long. Now that's something to dream about!

ESF Méribel ski instructors speak several languages

To offer tailor-made ski and snowboard lessons to skiers from other countries, the ESF Méribel is fortunate to be able to rely on its state-qualified instructors. Many of them are bilingual or even trilingual.

So as well as French, you can meet ESF professionals who also speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and even Russian. This wide range of languages means that we can meet foreign demand and talk about the mountains in both English and Russian. In this way, these tourists can also take advantage of their visit to Méribel to discover or rediscover the pleasure of skiing with an instructor.

It may come as a surprise to you, but the ESF's clients are in fact mainly French, English, Belgian, American, Swiss, Brazilian and Dutch.

What other talents do the Méribel ski instructors have?

As well as being a monitor, many of them also have one or more other professional activities. Teacher, dietician, carpenter, landscaper, sailing instructor... anything is possible! They divide their year between ESF lessons in the mountains, their first passion, and another complementary occupation elsewhere.

Speaking several languages is not their only talent, and they'll be happy to talk to you about it if you're interested. During your ski or snowboard lessons, you'll be able to talk freely with your ESF instructor. While you're improving your skiing skills, you'll never see the time go by on the resort's slopes again.
