On a night full of magic, you can watch the resort's instructors, as well as the youngest skiers, put on a truly magical show. A light show not to be missed when you come to Méribel!

A not-to-be-missed event in every ski season, the torchlight descent is an eagerly-awaited event in every resort, and Méribel is no exception! For many years now, this festive event has been lighting up the slopes and attracting huge crowds.
Whether you're staying with family or friends in the mountains, you too can take part in this magical event and end your holiday on a sensational note.
Gathered together on the snow front, you'll be able to admire, as night falls, a light show such as you'll never see anywhere else, put on by the school's instructors and the young skiers enrolled in the ski lessons.

In Méribel, it's perfectly possible for the little ones to take part in the emblematic torchlight descent. In fact, a descent reserved for children taking lessons with esf instructors is organised every Wednesday evening during the school holidays.
At Méribel and Mottaret, budding sports enthusiasts can enjoy a memorable experience on the surrounding slopes, supervised by experienced instructors. It's a unique opportunity for them to discover all the enchantment that the snowy night-time trails have to offer!
The torchlit descent costs €8: so don't wait, book a place for your child at the ESF offices and come and admire your young skier's prowess.

As well as the children's show, the esf instructors will also be performing a magical downhill run on the Méribel or Mottaret stadiums. Every Wednesday evening, even during the school holidays, you can come and marvel at the instructors' show from 6.30pm.
Created entirely by our ski school instructors, this marvellous illuminated tableau is presented free of charge to all holidaymakers in the resort who want to come and watch! Lanterns, torches and fireworks combine with an unforgettable technical demonstration to create a scene not to be missed in Méribel.
