Before you can take advantage of the various slopes in the ski area, you need to think about your equipment, your rental, and your ski or snowboard lessons. Secondly, it's important to prepare for your trip by taking care with your travel bag. Inside your bag, you'll need warm clothes, of course, so that you can enjoy the snow-covered landscapes in complete peace of mind, but that's not all. And don't forget to take SPF50+ sun cream to protect yourself from the sun, which is particularly dangerous at high altitudes (especially in the snow).
To take things a step further, you'll also need your Méribel ski outfit. A wetsuit, waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers... All this will give you optimum freedom of movement, while providing excellent thermal insulation.
If you have your own ski or snowboard equipment, this is also the time to pack it into appropriate bags (mask, poles, helmet, etc.). If you need to, there are several rental shops in and around Méribel. Please note, however, that the Méribel ESF is not responsible for booking this equipment.

Adults who want to go off-piste, for example, will need the 3 Vallées ski pass. This gives you access to ski lifts beyond the boundaries of Méribel. This way, the best spots in the world’s largest ski area will be within your reach.
